The National Neighborhood Watch Institute exists to make neighborhoods safer by putting professional, official crime-prevention signage and materials into the hands of the people who protect communities — law enforcement agencies, HOAs, and organized watch groups.
As the only Neighborhood Watch signage vendor approved by the National Sheriffs’ Association — the creators of Neighborhood Watch in 1972 — we hold to a single standard: every sign, decal, label, and handbook we produce should deter crime, strengthen community vigilance, and give residents confidence that someone is looking out for them.
We are committed to:
- Quality that lasts — durable, reflective, professionally manufactured signage built to serve for years in the field.
- Authenticity — official materials backed by a genuine, sanctioned Neighborhood Watch program, not generic imitations.
- Partnership with those who serve — supporting the departments, sheriffs, and volunteers who make Neighborhood Watch work.
- Prevention over reaction — because the most effective answer to crime is a neighborhood that is visibly, actively watching.
When a Neighborhood Watch sign goes up, it sends one message: this community looks out for each other. That message is our mission.
