The National Neighborhood Watch Institute (NNWI), a division of InterPrint Corporation, is committed to ensuring that nnwi.org is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities and the public-sector and community partners we serve.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we consider these guidelines, along with the principles of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), when designing and maintaining our site.

Measures we take

Using semantic HTML, descriptive link text, and image alternative text where appropriate.
Maintaining sufficient color contrast against our navy/gold/cream palette.
Supporting keyboard navigation and responsive layouts for phones, tablets, and desktops.
Reviewing new pages and our store, handbooks, and worksheets for accessibility as they are published.

Ongoing effort
